Job summary

arc Thrift Stores is seeking an Unloader to efficiently sort and distribute incoming merchandise in our busy production area. You will tally donation containers, separate saleable items from trash, and coordinate with the sorter to keep product flowing smoothly.

Responsibilities include unloading quickly, maintaining a clean, safe work space, and communicating with the supervisor and team to meet daily production goals. Overtime may be required to support store needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a productive member of a team.
• Good communication skills are required.
• Physical stamina to lift and move objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations and separate saleable items from trash.
• Process and push saleable items to the appropriate sorter.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area for safety and efficiency.
• Observe production flow and communicate needs to supervisor and sorters.
• May perform other job-related duties as requested by supervisor or manager.
