Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Glen Allen, VA is seeking a warehouse forklift associate to move products from trailers to dock staging areas, ensuring safety and quality as goods flow through receiving.

You will operate a forklift and pallet jack, sort and check pallets, and collaborate with teammates to maintain efficient operations. The role requires the ability to lift 10-100 pounds, stand for long periods, and pass post-offer drug tests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year warehouse/production experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Responsible for moving product with a forklift or pallet jack from trailer to another area of the warehouse dock during receiving process. Observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

• 6 Months - 1 Year Warehouse and / or production work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 100 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check

Compensation

$18 / hour
