Job summary

Viatris is seeking a Lead Specialist Production Training in Vermont to oversee the Manufacturing/Packaging training program. You will serve as the SME, drive all operational training initiatives, and support lean improvements while ensuring alignment with GMP/compliance standards.

You will audit training docs, monitor on-the-job training, and help develop new modules for current and new processes. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Training Certification preferred.
• Must possess knowledge of manufacturing processes and production environments. Must have knowledge of adult learning theories, competency-based training processes and select parts of GMP/Compliance regulations as it relates to training requirements.
• Must possess leadership, interpersonal, problem solving, creative thinking, communication, writing, time management, organizational and analytical processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the Manufacturing/Packaging training process at the site.
• Lead all Operational training initiatives at the site.
• Support all lean initiatives at the site as it relates to Manufacturing/Packaging training.
• Audit training documentation to ensure compliance with job performance vs. qualifications.
• Monitor on-the-job training efforts to ensure alignment with training plans.
• Assist in the development, coordination, execution and follow-through of new employee training.
• Assess training needs throughout Manufacturing/Packaging and address gaps.
• Maintain an Operator Capability Matrix for all Manufacturing/Packaging employees.
• Author and deliver technical training.
• Represent the Manufacturing/Packaging training team during regulatory body inspections.
