Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Operator II/Trainer in the Manufacturing function, responsible for running the production line and serving as a trainer for the area. The role emphasizes equipment operation, quality control, and training compliance to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, English fluency, and preferred technical training. Hours are 36–48 per week on a 12-hour rotating day shift, onsite in Duluth, GA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent reading/writing/communication in English.
• Technical degree or certification preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading training in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP/GxP or regulated environments.
• Experience developing training programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot production equipment and systems.
• Coordinate workflow to meet schedules, targets, quality, and cost.
• Review work orders and allocate resources for daily activities.
• Move and handle raw materials and finished goods per procedures.
• Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production and quality documentation for compliance.
• Instruct and mentor associates on processes and standards.
• Ensure training compliance and track progress.
