Job summary

ESPO Corporation in Chicago, IL is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to design and execute test procedures that bring new products into production. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing to translate product features into test requirements and standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field) and 2–5 years in a manufacturing test environment. LabVIEW experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years in manufacturing test environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the key interface between engineering and manufacturing to understand product feature set and test requirements.
• Communicate with management and users to develop production test requirements and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of final release documentation for product testing to ensure that the ISO company standards are being followed.
• Draft test and assembly plans for new production products.
• Assist in the drafting and setup of test systems.
• Define requirements for workspace and test equipment and other materials for maximum efficiency.
• Plan for sequence of operations in assembly and test, striving for continual improvements in efficiencies.
• Use LabView to create and document test procedures for new products.
• Trouble shoot electronics and test setups to determine root cause of failures.
