Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks Production Test Engineers to support test equipment and production test processes across the product lifecycle. You will troubleshoot test failures, validate equipment, and drive improvements in yields, capacity, and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience/education with interpretation of technical documentation or writing
• Experience/education with project execution
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Validate new or modified test equipment for production use.
• Ensure operation of test equipment and instructions are accurate.
• Ensure test equipment and software meet the test requirements specified for the product.
• Monitor and improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends, failure modes, and test yields.
• Perform preliminary investigation of problem resolution.
• Develop test flows and contribute to test capacity analysis.
• Maintain changes to the test equipment technical data package which includes drawings, test instructions, test position manuals, and system software.
• Assist in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair of the product or test equipment.
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations and present findings.
• Provide technical training in both product and test equipment to production test specialists and metrology personnel.
