Role Overview: Production Test Engineers (PTE) support the manufacturing process through various phases of the product life cycle, including product development, transition to production, sustained production, and depot activities. They validate hardware compliance, troubleshoot test failures, and identify process improvements.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Validating new or modified test equipment for production use.
  2. Ensuring the operation of test equipment and work instructions are accurate.
  3. Monitoring and improving the test process through data analysis.
  4. Investigating and resolving test failures.
  5. Developing test flows and contributing to capacity analysis.
  6. Maintaining technical documentation of test equipment.
  7. Assisting in fault isolation, diagnosis, and repair.
  8. Leading root cause investigations and presenting findings.
  9. Providing technical training to production staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an ATF access and U.S. security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer programming.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Manufacturing environment experience.
  • Technical writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with technical documentation, project execution, and data analysis.
  • Availability for additional shifts including weekends.
