Role Overview

Manufacturing Engineers develop and improve manufacturing processes, analyze product specifications, and collaborate across teams to develop, test, and modify solutions.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs), including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, and tool/fixture designs.
  2. Support daily manufacturing with process troubleshooting and engineering change incorporation.
  3. Disposition non-conforming materials with root cause and corrective actions.
  4. Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma principles to enhance cycle time, ergonomics, automation, and cost reduction.
  5. Provide technical support to manufacturing and fabrication teams.
  6. Develop tools and fixtures to improve ergonomics.
  7. Lead corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain ATF clearance.
Preferred Skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of CORE principles, GD&T, CAD tools (preferably CREO/ProE).
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability to work across disciplines.
  • Innovative mindset, team-oriented, with strong communication skills.
  • Experience with automated tooling, refurbishment, government-furnished materials, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Current DoD security clearance (secret).
