Job summary
Ecoplastic America Corp in Register, GA is seeking a Maintenance/Production Technology engineer to design and implement efficient production processes. The role focuses on process design, optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, QA, and Maintenance teams.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 2 years in production technology. CAD skills (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and familiarity with PLCs/robotics are highly valued.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field as listed.
- 2+ years in manufacturing or production technology roles.
- Experience designing and optimizing production processes.
- Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- PLC/robotics experience desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new production processes and technologies to boost efficiency and cut costs.
- Develop process flow diagrams, layouts, and equipment specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new tech into existing processes.
- Lead optimization initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen and track KPIs.
- Provide technical support to production teams and coordinate with R&D, QA, and Maintenance.
