Job summary

Greif, Inc. is seeking a Production Associate for the first shift (5:00 AM to 3:00 PM) to safely set up equipment, read work orders, and assist with changeovers. You will handle measurement tools, communicate quality concerns promptly, and help ensure packaging specifications are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read work orders and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment to meet production requirements.
• Read and interpret work orders for packaging requirements.
• Read a tape measure and use calipers/micrometers.
• Assist with changeovers between work orders.
• Assist with installation and adjustment of mandrel during setup.
• Inform operator of quality issues, equipment problems and counts.
• Remove finished cores and stack onto pallets or trays.
• Conduct periodic quality checks per COAs with CSAR system.
• Select nylon cutting sleeves and manage changes.
• Troubleshoot quality issues such as double cuts or burrs.
• Comply with OPEX recordkeeping requirements.
