Job summary

Bimeda is seeking a Production Technician to join their production team. This entry-level role focuses on packaging and inspecting finished products, setting up and operating packaging machinery, and ensuring processes meet cGMP standards.

The role offers growth potential, with shift timing on 1st shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM, and opportunities to train and advance within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to take directions and work collaboratively within a team.
• Capacity to lift 20-40 pounds frequently and maintain a fast-paced work ethic.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and legible handwriting.
• Good manual handling skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safety First: follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Machine Operation: set up, operate, and troubleshoot filling and packaging machinery.
• Quality Control: conduct visual inspections to ensure quality and compliance with cGMP.
• Production Documentation: maintain batch records and equipment logs for FDA and inventory policies.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: clean equipment and packaging areas per standards.
• Training Support: assist in training new team members.
• Cross-Training Opportunities: be open to other duties within production.
