Job summary

Bimeda is seeking a Production Technician in Minnesota to join our animal health manufacturing team. This entry-level role focuses on packaging finished products, operating packaging machinery, and helping ensure product quality and safety.

You will report to the Production Manager or Supervisor, work a 3rd shift, and participate in training while developing practical skills. We offer health insurance, a 401(k), PTO, life insurance, and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to take directions and work collaboratively within a team.
• Capacity to lift 20-40 pounds frequently.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation with legible handwriting.
• Good manual handling skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safety First: follow health and safety guidelines for a safe working environment.
• Machine Operation: set up, operate, and troubleshoot filling and packaging machinery.
• Quality Control: visually inspect products for quality and cGMP compliance.
• Production Documentation: maintain batch records and equipment logs.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: clean equipment and packaging areas.
• Training Support: assist in training new team members.
• Cross-Training Opportunities: be open to cross-training for other duties.
• Respirator Use: wear a respirator when required and pass medical exam/fit test.
