Job summary

Bimeda, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician on 2nd shift to join our animal health production team. This entry-level role focuses on packaging finished products, inspecting quality, and setting up/operating packaging machinery while ensuring GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Capacity to lift 20-40 pounds frequently.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation handwriting.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Pharma or food industry experience is a plus.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with FDA compliant facilities and quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Safety First: follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Machine Operation: set up, operate, and troubleshoot filling and packaging machinery to maintain production flow.
• Quality Control: visually inspect products to meet quality standards and comply with cGMP regulations.
• Production Documentation: complete and maintain batch records and equipment logs per FDA and inventory policies.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: clean equipment and packaging areas per cleanliness standards.
• Training Support: assist in training new team members.
• Cross-Training: be open to cross-training for other duties in the production area.
• Respirator Use: wear a respirator when required and pass medical exam/fit testing.
