Job summary

Bimeda is seeking an enthusiastic Production Technician to join our animal health manufacturing team. This entry-level role focuses on packaging finished products, operating packaging machinery, and ensuring quality and compliance with cGMP standards.

You'll work on the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 9:00 PM–5:30 AM) and support ongoing production while learning processes to advance within the company. A high school diploma and willingness to train are required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Natural mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to take directions and work collaboratively within a team.
• Capacity to lift 20-40 pounds frequently and maintain a fast-paced work ethic.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills, with clear handwriting.
• Good manual handling skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safety First: Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot filling and packaging machinery to maintain production flow.
• Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality and compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Production Documentation: Maintain batch records and equipment logs per FDA and inventory policies.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean equipment and packaging areas and ensure readiness for production.
• Training Support: Assist in training new team members and share knowledge.
• Cross-Training Opportunities: Be open to cross-training for other duties.
• Respirator Use: Wear a respirator when required and meet medical requirements.
