Job summary

Clariant is seeking operators to join our SMBE production team in Quincy, FL. You will operate and monitor a wide range of production equipment, perform basic maintenance, and ensure safety and environmental standards are met.

Expect rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to become fully qualified on multiple systems. You will develop expertise across diverse equipment, complete required production and safety documentation, and contribute to meeting strict

Qualifications

• HSD or equivalent; relevant prior work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial processes.
• Experience with basic mechanical and electrical repairs preferred.
• Experience with motorized industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate SMBE equipment safely and efficiently to meet metric targets and product specs.
• Safely operate and become fully qualified on Front-End Loader, Crusher, Sulfuric Acid Unloading and Dilution System, Mixer, Extruder, Heated Impact Mill, Dust Collection and Conveying Equipment, Rail Loading Systems, Storage Silos, Railcar Movers, forklifts, carts, skid-steer loaders, and other SMBE equipment.
• Become fully qualified to perform all Level 1 Mechanic tasks for SMBE equipment.
• Work rotating shifts, including 3- or 4-shift rotations; cover day, evening, and midnight shifts as needed.
• Complete workplace exams, Safe Work Permits, ESLOTO, and mobile equipment inspections.
• Operate Hi-Vac units and perform housekeeping; maintain 5S standards for SMBE.
• Perform equipment lubrication and preventive maintenance (Operator Basic Care).
• Perform other duties assigned by SMBE Production Managers and Supervisors.
