Clariant is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee a 15–20 person production team in Quincy, FL, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency and quality. You will drive training, monitor KPIs, and ensure delivery of the production plan while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

You will perform GEMBA walks, inspections and log issues in SAP, coach employees, and continuously improve processes to reduce waste and downtime.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
• SAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 15–20 employees in a rotating shift environment, ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and effectively.
• Complete GEMBA walks and MSHA workplace inspections; log near misses and deviations to ensure team safety and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and enforce company safety initiatives.
• Hold individuals accountable for production, quality and training results.
• Lead training to ensure delivery of the production plan, minimize cost, and meet customer deadlines.
• Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures.
• Conduct competency testing for direct reports and motivate upskilling.
• Address deviations impacting production and cost; report conditions in SAP to prevent unplanned events.
• Encourage use of digital tools to report shift events and downtime; monitor KPIs and respond promptly.
