Qualitech is seeking a 2nd shift Production Technician for our food solutions division. This role involves managing and preparing materials for the production process of food products, producing labels, labeling packaging materials, maintaining accurate inventories of ingredients and packaging, and picking ingredients needed for production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Pick ingredients needed for production according to the schedule or as directed by the supervisor.
2. Execute system transactions to assign picked ingredients to production orders, ensuring traceability and accurate inventory levels.
3. Organize and reconcile ingredient and packaging inventories, maintaining accuracy in the system by product code.
4. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment focused on quality and efficiency.
5. Label and organize micro ingredients, ensuring storage locations are accurate and easily locatable.
6. Follow PPE requirements and interpret special instructions on pick lists when handling raw materials.
7. Pull production orders from the system, verify ingredients, and ensure correct items are selected.
8. Complete packaging label duties, including label printing and verification of information such as product code, lot number, and expiration date.
9. Follow labeling instructions and ensure all packaging materials are labeled correctly.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with one or more years of related experience and/or training.
