Qualitech is looking for a 3rd shift Production Technician for their food solutions division. This person will blend and pack products with respect to production, quality, safety, and sanitation in an efficient manner. Responsible for following company food safety and quality programs and assisting in the investigation and correction of any non-conformance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure ingredient traceability by accurately recording lot numbers in batch sheets.
• Ensure compliance with company allergen control measures during batching operations.
• Perform equipment allergen clean-up and other cleaning/sanitation activities as assigned by management.
• Ensure compliance with finished product weight requirements.
• Conduct periodic magnet cleaning.
• Check metal detectors periodically.
• Ensure product traceability by accurately recording the lot number on the packaging log and confirming lot on the product label.
• Ensure packaging traceability by accurately recording the lot number of the packaging material or its equivalent.
• Follow “Hold & Release” policies regarding non-conforming products.
• Adhere to company policies on rework/blend back processes.
• Package designated products as instructed.
• Obtain proper bags from packaging areas.
• Sample products and report irregularities to management.
• Maintain clean working areas.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
