Job summary

Mission Critical Group is seeking a Production Technician for the Integrated Solutions team. The role involves reading electrical schematics, assembling control panels and equipment to meet client specifications, and performing pre-test QC and testing of systems.

Taking direction from Managers and Team Leads the Production Technician will be expected to read and understand electrical schematics, assemble control panels and equipment of varying size and scope to meet client and product specifications, and conduct pre-testing quality control as well as testing of completed systems. The Technician will also assist with routine shop and equipment maintenance. A background in electrical/ control systems and PLC experience are a plus. This position may require infrequent travel for installation/service deployment.

Required Knowledge/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent OR relevant experience
• Satisfactory completion of additionalbackground screening (if applicable).
• Valid driver’s license
• Preferred certifications (OSHA10, CPR)

Required Skill/Abilities:

• Pre-Test/QC and Test completed systems.
• Assemble control panels and equipment to meet client and product specifications.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Standard work week isMonday through Friday, typically40 hoursperweek,overtime may berequired, including evenings or weekends, based on production demands.
• Physical exertion may vary depending on position type. May berequiredto regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch,frequentlystand or walk around the work area, and lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Assembling may involve manipulating small parts and using hand tools. Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity are essential for this job. Comfortable with occasional repetitive motions.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
• Manufacturing facilities can be loud and have bright lights. Subjective to seasonal weather conditions (hot in summer and cold in winter months).
