Job summary

Harley-Davidson Motor Company is seeking a Production Technician 2 at its York facility. You will set up and operate multiple welding machines, including MIG/TIG and gas processes, to assemble components in a manufacturing center.

The role requires six months of welding experience or a weld qualification class and passing an HD weld test, with emphasis on quality and conformance to specifications through jig/fixture guidance.

Qualifications

• Six months welding experience OR successful completion of a weld qualification class.
• Must pass Harley-Davidson weld test conducted by HD or a 3rd party administrator.
• Ability to set up and operate multiple welding machines in a production center.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple welding machines, manual welding processes and tools.
• Weld components using MIG, TIG, and gas processes and repair welds as needed.
• Position parts with jigs/fixtures and ensure conformance to specifications.
