Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Strong Supervisor/Leadership experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• Welding experience highly preferred.
• Lean manufacturing techniques understood and applied.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, guidance and training in development of new processes and resolution of manufacturing problems.
• Participate with product engineering to design parts for manufacturability.
• Serve as a technical resource in fabrication processes including welding and polishing.
• Oversee hourly and union employees on shift.
• Provide productivity improvements to reduce cycle time.
• Reduce overall costs through tooling and process improvements.
• Ensure processes meet Harley-Davidson quality, ergonomic, and safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement and world-class quality initiatives.
