Job summary

Spectra Defense Technologies is seeking a Solder Technician to perform soldering, crimping and wire prep in the assembly of cable assemblies to drawing and IPC standards. You will meet production and quality requirements, follow safety procedures, and support other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of cable assembly or soldering experience, ability to read schematics, and familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 Class 3.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Soldering: 3 years (Preferred).
• IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001, Class 3.
• Completion of US Navy or US Air Force electronics technician training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering and related tasks to join cables to connectors.
• Crimping and wire prep (cutting and stripping).
• Potting and assembly of cable assemblies per procedures and specifications.
• Meet production and quality standards; follow safety procedures.
• Other tasks as assigned.
