Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper in Tucson, Arizona, is seeking a Production Technician I to monitor and operate high-speed production equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the shift. You will engage in lean management practices, track production data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with a team-focused mindset.

The role involves learning processing and packaging equipment, supporting quality policies, and collaborating with colleagues to meet safety and output

Qualifications

• 1 year prior experience with operation of high-speed production machinery preferred.
• 1 year prior experience monitoring of product quality preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn about how processing and packaging equipment works. Mechanical understanding or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Self-motivated team player with ability to make decisions, communicate and problem solve.
• Comfort with basic computer functions and ability to quickly learn production software.
• Basic mathematical skills to make production calculations

Job Overview

Production Technician I - Tucson, Arizona

The Production Technician I is responsible for monitoring Keurig Dr Pepper’s production processes, including operating manufacturing equipment and maintaining compliance with Keurig Dr Pepper’s high standards for safety and quality. This role will be engaged and understand initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture.

Shift and Schedule

• Monday - Friday with flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays and required by schedule.
• 10:00pm-6:30am

Total Rewards

Pay starting at $19.15 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $20.16 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 1 year prior experience with operation of high-speed production machinery preferred
• 1 year prior experience monitoring of product quality preferred
• Ability to quickly learn about how processing and packaging equipment works. Mechanical understanding or manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stretch and stand during entire shift.
• Ability to frequently kneel, squat, climb stairs/ladders, bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions.
