Job summary

Roche seeks a Production Technician to support manufacturing operations, including packaging and labeling. You will set up and operate equipment, follow written or verbal instructions, inspect products for quality, and maintain documentation to support GMP standards.

Flexibility in schedule and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs are required. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma; preferred are GMP/ISO knowledge and 1 year of related production experience in a regulated industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• GMP and ISO principles understood or preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Basic computer skills with standard software.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• 1 year of experience in production/manufacturing in a regulated setting.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. occasionally.
• Flexible work schedule; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic production machines.
• Follow process sheets or supervisor instructions for production tasks.
• Inspect products against predetermined tolerances and ensure quality.
• Maintain and improve the quality system and achieve quality objectives.
• Prepare work centers for line clearance and conduct regular cleaning.
• Train others in department as needed.
• Maintain material and supply needs to support production.
• Troubleshoot packaging processes and participate in problem solving.
