Plastipak is seeking a Production Technician to operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment for high-volume plastic containers. You will monitor equipment, adjust heat and cooling settings, and perform quality checks in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician.
• Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment preferred.
• Basic hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical/mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and 70 lbs. with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion & blow-molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled environment.
• Monitor and adjust settings to produce high-quality containers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Conduct quality checks for bottle weights and dimensions.
• Collaborate with team to identify safety, reliability and scrap-reduction improvements.
