Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Process Technician to operate extrusion and blow-molding lines in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will monitor equipment, adjust heat and cooling, and perform preventative maintenance to keep production within specs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, familiarity with extrusion or blow molding equipment, and basic hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical/mechanical knowledge. This role offers a stable, team-oriented environment and room for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Manufacturing Process Technician.
• Experience with extrusion or blow molding equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical/mechanical basics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled environment.
• Monitor and adjust heat, water cooling, hydraulic pressure to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Run quality checks on bottle weights and dimensions to meet specs.
