Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Production Coordinator to lead the Site operations team for the assigned shift at the Mount Pleasant, TN site. You will communicate expectations, monitor performance, and take corrective actions to achieve site KPIs including HSE compliance and quality targets.

The role requires a high school diploma with 3–5 years in a chemical production environment and supervisory experience. An Associate's degree in Engineering is preferred and collaboration and accountability are valued

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3-5 years of experience in a chemical production environment.
• Associate's degree in Engineering or similar field preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Strong customer focus and collaborative mindset are essential.
• Ability to empower and be accountable for team performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Site operations team for assigned shift, communicate expectations, monitor performance and address issues to meet site KPIs (HSE, Quality, S&OP).
• Lead select operations improvement initiatives and participate in Area Improvement Teams (AITs).
• Manage labor needs in coordination with Production Superintendent for efficient staffing.
• Support cross-functional and Site improvement initiatives and maintain SHE compliance.
• Oversee maintenance activities, contractor oversight, and off-shift material procurement; provide relief coverage as needed.
• Act as sole on-site supervisor during off shifts and weekends to ensure continuous plant operations and site security.
• Serve as incident commander for plant emergencies and back-up logistics leader coordinating shipping/receiving.
• Conform to safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements; participate in required training (ENV107A related).
