Job summary

QXO in Florida is seeking a Production Specialist to support manufacturing and production operations, assisting in cutting, assembly, and handling of building materials. You will help ensure products are produced safely, accurately, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will read work orders and blueprints, measure and mark materials, operate hand and power tools, set up workstations, monitor quality, and follow safety policies.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret production paperwork, blueprints, and specs.
• Willingness to learn manufacturing processes and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Produce building products according to work orders and specs.
• Read and interpret paperwork, blueprints, and measuring tools.
• Measure, mark, and fasten materials with hand and power tools.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow PPE rules.
• Support changeovers and production scheduling.
• Communicate issues and assist teamwork.
