Job summary

Safariland is seeking production team members in Pittsfield, MA to perform line assembly operations and mass-produce products. You will work at multiple workstations, assemble and label stock, and assist Quality Control while maintaining safety standards and efficient KPI performance.

Teamwork and safety adherence are essential to succeed in this role. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent education/experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• General knowledge in the use of hand tools and shop operations.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Work at different workstations as production needs require.
• Assemble and label products for stock as needed.
• Assist Quality Control in production.
• Verify sales orders to assembled parts and/or finished product.
• Adhere product logos and serial numbers on products properly.
• Steel cutting with band saw or other shop equipment.
• Composite layup and fabric cutting to support ballistic composite production.
• Observe all safety regulations and procedures of the facility.
• Train associates as required.
• Perform support operations including Crane and Forklift operations and Inventory backups.
