Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a skilled Manufacturing/Machine Operator for a 7th shift Tue-Sat 6 am–6 pm. You will operate equipment to produce product in full compliance with specifications and instructions on the manufacturing order, maintaining uninterrupted production flow.

Requirements include over one year in manufacturing, ability to lift 50 pounds, basic math, blueprint reading, and forklift training or the ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

  • Over one year experience in manufacturing facility required.
  • Must either have prior forklift training or be able to receive forklift training.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic skills (reading, writing).
  • Blue print reading, basic (simple geometric parts, interpret dimensions).
  • Measuring tools, basic (Calipers, Micrometers, Copper Thickness Gauge).
  • Basic Math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must communicate well with others.

Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment to produce product that is in full compliance to required product specifications and any instructions appearing on the manufacturing order.
  • Consistently meet production rates while meeting all quality and safety standards.
  • Responsible for daily preventative maintenance duties for machine.
  • Responsible for setting up each job based on requirements on each job packet.
  • Work with maintenance to reduce mechanical downtime.
  • Comply to and support all aspects of the nVent quality system.
  • Actively participates in continuous improvement activities as requested.
  • Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or directed which may require more than the normal shift hours or work week to meet company needs.
