Job Description

The main responsibility of the Production Technician is to set up and operate one or more machines in a WireCo manufacturing facility. A successful candidate must be able to follow shop work instructions, use hand tools, and read tape measures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Maintain quality standards during production by following work instructions.
• Support good housekeeping to promote a safe work environment.
• Perform duties as assigned, including being cross-trained in other departments.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Work within our Inventory Control System.

Work Schedule & Compensation

2nd shift, 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with OT available.

Starting pay: $21/hour.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 2–3 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
• Good math aptitude
• Ability to work in a group environment
• Fluent in English

Additional Information

Materials and equipment used include personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
• Satisfactory background check post-offer; criminal convictions are not automatic disqualifiers.
• Willingness to pass a post-offer drug screen and physical, if required.
• Must be 18 or older.
