Job summary

Continental Plastic Corporation in Delavan, WI is seeking a Production Technician (1st Shift) to set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production machines from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. You will perform preventive maintenance, ensure quality output, and support KPI achievement under the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Education, training, and experience equivalent to a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 months of machine operating experience (preferably extrusion) in an industrial setting.
• Possess a basic knowledge level of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate single or multiple production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
• Check machine output and identify any issues.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications.
• Inspect parts to specifications and make adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications.
