Job summary

CONTINENTAL PLASTIC CORPORATION in Delavan, Wisconsin, is seeking an Extrusion Technician for 1st shift (5:00 AM–3:00 PM, Mon-Thu). This non-supervisory role handles startup, configuration, loading, operation, changeovers, and basic maintenance to maximize machine uptime and quality.

Under supervision, you will read manuals, set up machines, monitor output, document activity, and uphold safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 months of machine operating experience.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and production orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operation activities to ensure proper startup and operation.
• Set up and operate production machines per procedures to ensure quality output.
• Monitor output, troubleshoot, and maintain records of machine activity.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping, and support continuous improvement efforts.
