PURPOSE OF ROLE: Efficiently and responsibly cut, bag, and stack feedstocks into appropriate sizes while minimizing scrap rubber trimmings. Ensure the material passes through a metal detector and remove any contamination.

HOURS: 8:00AM – 4:00PM

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate all guillotine controls.
• Cut material to specified sizes/weights and identify groups as outlined on mixing instructions.
• Check the metal detector at the beginning of each shift and after lunch.
• Visually inspect all material for contamination during cutting and stacking.
• Neatly stack cut material with poly between layers to prevent sticking.
• Stack waste skids and cardboard neatly for processing.
• Ensure containers are cleaned and marked correctly before use.
• Assist in cleanup during changeovers and shutdowns.
• Maintain cleanliness of the area and machinery.
• Report equipment issues to Maintenance.
• Notify Team Leader of any problems.
• Follow PPE procedures and safeguard company property.
• Comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and environmental standards.
• Apply the RMA 7S standards and uphold the Code of Conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience/license preferred.
• Prior relevant experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Use hands for handling and feeling; reach with arms.
• Occasionally sit, talk, read, hear, or smell.
• Occasionally climb ladders.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision and depth perception.
