Job summary

Kimberly-Clark in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Production Technician to operate a production line for leading brands. You will work a 12-hour rotating shift, with nights and weekends, and play a key role in safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or technical manufacturing credentials, basic computer skills, and the ability to learn SAP, MES, and other mill systems. This is an on-site role with competitive benefits.

  • HS diploma or GED or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and math skills.
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights and weekends.
  • Pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Pass PAT after offer.
  • Safety mindset with focus on hazard recognition.
  • Learn and use SAP, MES, MS Office, Outlook, PIMS daily.
  • Team player in High-Performance Work Team culture.
  • One of: 1+ year sustained work history; 2+ years military; technical degree; or small business ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a production machine to manufacture high-quality Kimberly-Clark products.
  • Follow safety rules and drive continuous improvement in the line.
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance.
  • Learn and use mill computer systems including SAP, MES, and PIMS.
  • Collaborate with team to meet production targets and quality standards.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
  • Have basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
  • Ability to work schedule of 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and during startup or abnormal operating conditions as business needs require.
  • Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening.
  • Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
  • Safety Mindset: Demonstrated prior experience with a focus on working safely and hazard recognition.
  • Ability to learn and regularly utilize mill computer systems such as: Production MRP System (SAP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, PIMS, etc.
  • Yuma Facility is a High-Performance Work Team Culture. You must have the ability, drive and desire to work in a team environment
  • The ideal candidate must have one of the following:
    • Minimum of 1 year of sustained work experience; or
    • Minimum of at least 2 years of military experience; or
    • Technical degree or certification in Manufacturing Technology or related field; or
    • Experience owning or operating a small business
  • Mechanical aptitude troubleshooting, disassembling equipment, parts replacement, general machine repair. Electrical aptitude is preferred but not required.
  • Consistent and prolonged work history with demonstrated longevity and ability to succeed in work assignments.

Starting Hourly Wage: $27.00 USD

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. This position is eligible for the starting wage listed above, overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year. You'll also enjoy a full benefits package, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. Please note that the stated pay rate applies to US locations only.
