Job summary

Kimberly-Clark in Maumelle, AR, is seeking an Maintenance Technician to service production and packaging equipment. You’ll operate high-speed machinery, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and work within a safety‑driven team environment.

The role includes learning SAP, PIMS, and MS Office, with opportunities for skill development and advancement. Starting wage is $23.35 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

  • Be running technologically advanced, high-speed manufacturing equipment and collaborating with new or junior team members to do their best work safely.
  • Be safe. Safety is our top priority. We require all Technicians to work in a safe manner to consistently identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Utilize problem solving and decision‑making skills to establish proficiency in operating and making machine adjustments which are required to achieve and control high‑quality material standards.
  • Actively participate in a self‑directed work team system which includes at times providing meaningful feedback to build participation and engagement with team members.
  • Document, account for and complete daily performance metrics in both verbal and written formats.
  • Identify machine faults and variations in runtime stability.
  • Ensure that quality tests are done correctly and in a timely manner, and documents are maintained as required.
  • Accountable for total productive maintenance support including equipment reliability, planned downs, and lubrication tasks.
  • Accountable for continued individual development of skills including opportunities for special assignments, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, and advanced technical tasks.

You will be maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work. In This Role, You Will

  • Utilize problem solving and decision‑making skills to establish proficiency in operating and making machine adjustments which are required to achieve and control high‑quality material standards.
  • Actively participate in a self‑directed work team system which includes at times providing meaningful feedback to build participation and engagement with team members.
  • Document, account for and complete daily performance metrics in both verbal and written formats.

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need the Following Qualifications
  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
  • 1+ years of continuous work experience.
  • Have basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
  • Are able to maintain a work schedule of 12‑hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • Can pass a pre‑employment assessment and a pre‑employment drug + background screening.
  • Can pass post‑offer / pre‑hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
  • Have a Safety Mindset: Demonstrated prior experience with a focus on working safely and hazard recognition.
  • Ability to learn and regularly utilize mill computer systems such as: Production MRP System (SAP), Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, PIMS, etc.
  • Mechanical aptitude troubleshooting, disassembling equipment, parts replacement, general machine repair. Electrical aptitude is preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous or current experience in a fast‑paced, team‑based work environment (manufacturing and/or industrial).
  • Demonstrated performance in safety, quality, and attendance with previous employments.
  • 3+ years of work experience.

Employment Information

Starting Hourly Wage: $23.35 USD. At Kimberly‑Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. This position is eligible for the starting wage listed above, overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year. You’ll also enjoy a full benefits package, including our 401(k) and Profit‑Sharing plan. Please note that the stated pay rate applies to US locations only.
