Job summary

Opta Group LLC. is seeking a Production Technician Associate to support manufacturing operations. You will report to the Production Supervisor and perform a variety of production tasks to assist with daily operations.

The role involves monitoring equipment, adjusting setups, and operating heavy machinery such as loaders, backhoes, and forklifts. You will track data and report inconsistencies while adhering to safety and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing setting required.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Able to follow a production report while working independently.
• Capable of standing, walking, speaking, lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and adjust setups, calibrations, and alignments.
• Operate heavy machinery including loaders, backhoes, and forklifts.
• Track data related to production equipment.
• Report inconsistencies and follow standard repair procedures.

Job description

The Production Technician Associate will report directly to the Production Supervisor and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks to assist with operations in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitors equipment performance and adjusts setups, calibrations, and alignments
• Operate heavy machinery, including loaders, backhoes, and forklifts
• Tracks various data associated with production equipment
• Reports any inconsistencies and uses standard repair procedures
• Work in compliance with company safety and operating procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Skills And Experience

• Previous experience in a production/manufacturing setting
• Capable of working in a team and independently
• Capable of following a production report while working independently
• Frequent & Constant Activities include: standing, walking, visual, talking, driving vehicle, manual dexterity, hearing, bending/stooping, sense of balance, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing and/or carrying up to 50 lbs
• Training hours will be 7:30am 4:00pm, then shift time will be 12:00 to 8:30pm.
