Job summary

Linde plc seeks a field and control-station operator to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation of process units and equipment. You will monitor performance, coordinate maintenance, and communicate with customers and facility management to keep products and process status up to date.

The role requires strict adherence to safety programs, PPE usage, lockout/tagout, and readiness for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Commitment to personal safety and environmental accountability.
• Experience wearing PPE and following lockout/tagout policies.
• Ability to follow safety programs and participate in inspections.
• Ability to handle emergency preparedness and incident reporting.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and extended hours as needed.

• You will operate and control process units and equipment in the field and from the control station to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operations
• Monitor plant performance, identify potential issues, and maintain operational efficiency
• Further,coordinate work requests, permits, and equipment isolations to ensure safe maintenance and return to normal operations
• Communicate with customers and facility management regarding product conditions, process status, and supply availability
• Maintain production records and follow standard operating procedures for equipment startup and shutdown to ensure reliability and prevent delays
• Also, apply sound judgment when making process decisions and contribute to developing and updating standard operating procedures

• Moreover, assist with safe operating procedures, routine maintenance, process safety management, facility housekeeping, and turnaround planning
• Support rotating shifts, on-call responsibilities, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require
• You are able to fulfill physical job requirements, including confined space entry, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working at heights, while maintaining a reliable, safety-focused presence during critical operations
