Our customer is looking for Production Technician at their St. Louis, MO location. The Production Technician assembles custom-built diesel-powered electric generators by interpreting blueprint specifications and using hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, at times welding equipment and machine tools. We’re looking for candidates with a strong electrical background.

What You’ll Do:

• Meet customer demand by custom building diesel-powered electric generators by interpreting specifications using blueprints, wiring schematics, and engine drawings.
• Keep a safe environment by completing all jobs in a manner that complies with health, safety and environmental practices, policies, and procedures. Make sure you’re completing required documentation and keeping your work area and tools clean and in proper operation.
• Participate in on-the-job, technical, policy, and procedural training.
• You may be asked to perform the Lead role on some jobs.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of mechanical, automotive, or assembly experience.
• Ability to think independently, problem-solve, and be flexible.
• Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work 6 a.m.-2:30 p.m. with overtime as required.
