Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in New Jersey is hiring a Production Technician to operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment, producing plastic containers for major brands. You will monitor settings, perform adjustments, and ensure product quality in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

The role offers a 12-hour shift schedule with a 3-2-2-3 rotation and a starting pay of $25+ per hour. Plastipak emphasizes internal growth, safety, and comprehensive benefits for associates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Manufacturing Process Technician working with equipment used for high-volume production.
• Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferred.
• Hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical mechanical basic knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of extrusion & blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe & climate-controlled environment.
• Monitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers.
• Troubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Assure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensions.

As a Production Technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands. • Set Schedules: 12-hour shifts & a rotating 2-week standard schedule of 3 days, then 4 days is 15 working days a month as a full-time associate!

This Is A Great Fit If You Have:

• Days: 6:30am-7:00pm (3-2-2-3 Schedule)
• $25+/hr.
