Job Summary:

Job responsibilities include assembling multiple cable harnesses from schematic/technical drawings and work instructions. Tasks involve crimping pins, terminating shields, assembling connectors, managing harnesses with tie wraps, lacing, braided sleeves, and heat shrink as necessary. Additionally, assembling electro-mechanical modules and systems and testing manufactured products.

Description

Responsibilities include assembling cable harnesses, crimping, terminating, and assembling connectors, managing harnesses, assembling electro-mechanical modules, and testing products. Must be able to use tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, solder stations, heat guns, hand tools, VOM, cable testers, and tape measures.

Essential Job Functions

• Knowledge of mechanical techniques, including geometric dimensioning and tolerance practices.
• Ability to verify measurements with devices like calipers, tape measures, pin gauges, and go/no-go gauges.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and verify part dimensions.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment such as VOM, cable testers, and pull testers.
• Basic computer data entry skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a production team environment.

Requirements

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills:

High school diploma and/or 2 years of experience in a related field or academic study.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 45 lbs, with good manual dexterity and eyesight for handling materials, tools, and equipment.
