What You Will Do:

• Review filling and packaging instructions at the beginning of line runs. Ensure the correct packaging materials and Personal Protective Equipment are available. Follow safety procedures.
• Set up the line correctly according to instructions.
• Operate filling and packaging equipment continuously, including fillers, labelers, cappers, tape machines, barcode and inkjet printers, hand tools, palletizers, and lid presses. Adjust equipment to meet specifications.
• Take samples, keep the area clean, and participate in Kaizens, 5S, and special projects.
• Identify opportunities for waste elimination and improve processes.
• Document quality and productivity activities, perform basic quality tests, and record results accurately.
• Complete packaging and filling assignments to meet or exceed standards.
• Assist with line changeovers, including collecting wash water.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Details:

• Location: Huntington, IN
• Shift options: 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm, Monday-Friday) OR 3rd Shift (11pm-7am, Sunday-Thursday)
• Compensation: $19.28/hour + Shift Differential (2nd Shift = $0.35/hour, 3rd Shift = $0.50/hour)

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in plant or warehouse environment.
• Basic math skills, including operations with fractions, percentages, and decimals.
• No immigration sponsorship available.

Physical Demands:

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to complete training, including Hazardous Material Safety and DOT.
• Ability to understand safety, quality, and productivity data.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with TPM and Continuous Improvement Systems.
• Attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork ability.

Compensation Range:

The pay is $19.28/hour, with factors like experience and location considered. We comply with all wage laws.
