Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a production operator for 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am), with training on 1st shift possible. You will read PMI, JSA, and schedules to complete daily production tasks and support safety initiatives.

You will follow detailed instructions, maintain inventory accuracy, operate machines and forklifts, and work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment while meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Able to read, comprehend and understand work instructions.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Able to operate fork truck, electric hoist, scales, and label machines.
  • Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Must wear a full face or half face respirator.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite) preferred.
  • Able to work 8-hour shift Mon-Fri (2:00pm-10:30pm); training may be on 1st shift; 12hr shift possible in future.

What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will read, understand, and useProduct Manufacturing Instructions (PMI’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA),and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks
  • Further you will support andparticipate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as businessneeds arise
  • You will follow step by step instructions detailed by senior operators in turnover reports, written job instructions, or verbal instructions
  • Additionally, you will ensure inventory accuracy by performing basic math and maintaining an organized workspace
  • You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to complete tasks on-time while meeting all safety and quality requirements
  • You will perform the operation of machines, fork trucks, and/or associated equipment

  • Required to work a 8-hour schedule Monday - Friday (02:00pm - 10:30pm); training may be required on first shift. Position may eventually go to 12hr shift in the future
