Responsibilities

3rd Shift - 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM - Sunday through Friday morning

Pay Grade: HR130

Starting Pay: $22.19/hr plus $1.00/hr Shift Differential = $23.19/hr

Now hiring at our Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania manufacturing plant for a Production Technician in the Printed Circuit Board department. The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Assemble and test moderately complex circuit boards and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering. Install wires, leads, and a variety of thru-hole components. Solder components and leads.
  • Pick parts from the warehouse as needed.
  • Troubleshoot minor assembly problems.
  • Perform visual inspections, minor repairs, and rework.
  • Perform basic calibration using existing test setups or procedures. Use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments.
  • Set up automated assembly machines, making necessary adjustments for start-up and operation.
  • Transfer finished boards and sub-assemblies to the appropriate work area.
  • Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information into the computer system.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Strong manual dexterity for using tools and working on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.
  • Operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards.
  • Willingness to work on various product groups and flexible shifts.

Ability to:

  • Identify various electronic components.
  • Read and understand drawings, work instructions, and test procedures.
  • Understand standard units of measure and interpret results of measuring devices.
  • Perform standard software operations including SAP.
  • Stand infrequently in one position and lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Use power and hand tools.
  • Concentrate for prolonged periods, often requiring magnification.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Wear PPE such as ANSI Z87 safety glasses and steel toe shoes as required.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 months manufacturing or related experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • Past soldering experience.
