Work Schedule: This position's current schedule is Tuesday - Friday, 6:00 am - 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break, occasional opportunity for overtime.

Starting Pay: $16.00/hr.

Job Description:

Coast Precast is seeking full-time Production Technician candidates for immediate hire. We are a family-owned manufacturer of Precast Stair Treads in Texas, committed to quality and longevity. We are looking for hardworking, motivated, reliable individuals to join our team and help Coast grow to achieve our goals.

There is room for advancement based on work ethic and desire to learn. This is a 40-hour/week position, paid weekly, with a starting pay of $16/hr.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain positive relationships with co-workers, customers, clients, and management.
2. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, provided by the company.
3. Participate in a one-piece-flow assembly line to produce detailed products.
4. Learn about plant operations, including raw material flow to finished products.
5. Assemble components using hand tools or by hand.
6. Clean and maintain assembly equipment following SOPs and MSDS guidelines.
7. Assist in maintenance, production, shipping, and act as relief worker across departments.
8. Work in an outdoor shop environment in all weather conditions, handling dust, cement, oils, etc.
9. Use hand tools and equipment such as drills, saws, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Positive, self-motivated, and energetic with a patient attitude.
2. Detail-oriented with good judgment and quick response ability.
3. Reliable with excellent attendance.
4. Respectful and adaptable to change.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Able to lift 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and repetitive motions.
7. Experience in construction or manufacturing; forklift experience preferred.
