Join our team as a Production Technician in the Powder Production Department at Bayport Laboratories.

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Technician to assist in producing powder batches, handling raw materials, and operating mixing equipment. The role requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily production following safety and quality procedures
  • Operate, clean, and maintain mixing machinery
  • Weigh and measure raw materials accurately
  • Transport materials manually or with equipment like forklifts (if certified)
  • Complete batch records and documentation
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds (32 kg) regularly
  • Stand for long periods (8–10 hours per shift)
  • Perform repetitive tasks (bending, reaching, pushing, pulling)
  • Work in dusty, noisy, or temperature-variable environments (PPE provided)
  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • Follow instructions and communicate in Spanish (English not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and safety commitment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing environments
  • Forklift certification (a plus)
  • Team-oriented with ability to work independently
