Job summary

NatureWorks in Blair is seeking a Production Technician to safely operate our Blair bio-refinery plant. The role requires 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, with rotations every 8 weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience desired.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills required.

• Communicate quality and cost improvement needs to supervisors.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Production Technician responsible for the safe, daily operations of our production plant. This role involves environmental compliance, ensuring product quality, and maintaining plant safety. The position requires 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts will rotate from days to nights every 8 weeks. Our plant is located in the Blair bio-refinery campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership: Ensure plant safety, identify unsafe conditions, and follow EH&S policies.
• Operations: Operate equipment, monitor plant systems, troubleshoot, and adjust processes as needed.
• Collaboration: Communicate with supervisors about quality and cost control improvements.
• Housekeeping: Maintain plant cleanliness and support overall plant upkeep.

Qualifications
