Production Technician II

The Production Technician II at Keurig Dr Pepper operates, monitors, troubleshoots, and maintains production and packaging equipment to maximize operational efficiency and uphold high safety and quality standards in a state-of-the-art aseptic manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, and minor adjustments. The role also involves improving manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture. Domestic travel may be required during training.

Shift & Schedule

• 2nd shift: Monday - Friday (Saturdays as needed), 2:00pm - 10:30pm
• 3rd shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:30am
• 6:00pm - 6:00am on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required.

Preferred Experience

• Troubleshooting equipment
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments (Bonus if in Food/Bev/Bottling/Medical industries)
• Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, TPM principles
• Relevant titles: Machine Operator, Production Technician, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety in all duties
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Set up machinery and replenish materials
• Operate and monitor production lines for quality
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs
• Record data and perform maintenance activities
• Perform machine changeovers and sanitation

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting at $27.51/hour plus shift differential, increasing to $28.98/hour after 6 months

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years of experience with automated machinery and troubleshooting
• 1 year of experience in quality testing and computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Basic mathematical skills for production calculations and analysis
• Ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to kneel, squat, bend, reach, and stand for long periods
• Flexible to work extended hours and different departments as needed
• Preferred: Aseptic manufacturing experience
