Job description

Reports To: Manager, Production; Manager, Facility Operations

Position Overview

Production Technicians are responsible for all aspects of manufacturing operations, including laboratory work, packaging, and labeling of the final product for customer sale as outlined by the management team. Responsibilities include assembling product materials into containers and packages, ensuring correct quantity, weight, and type of product is packaged. The role requires working efficiently, increasing productivity, and maintaining professionalism in the use of all production facilities and equipment.

Pay:

$17.00 + benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401K with match, and more!

Major Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the post-harvest plant processing of medical cannabis.
  2. Weigh, package, label, record, inspect, and sanitize products.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  4. Weigh, package, label, and record medical cannabis for distribution.
  5. Follow instructions and assist management with delegated tasks.
  6. Work efficiently and accurately.
  7. Maintain professionalism and a service-oriented attitude.
  8. Ensure compliance with policies, including security, access, dress code, and schedules.
  9. Adhere to HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. At least 21 years of age.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent.
  3. 1-3 years of hands-on production experience.
  4. Knowledge of weights and measurements.
  5. Availability for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
  6. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  7. Attention to detail, speed, and precision with equipment.
  8. Ability to multi-task and maintain consistency daily.
  9. Physical ability to stand/sit for long periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 10 pounds or more with assistance.
Additional Abilities
  • Physical activity including standing, sitting, bending, climbing, and lifting.
  • Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions accurately.
  • Work environment usually has moderate noise levels.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable performance of essential duties.
