Job Title: Edibles Production Technician (Full-Time)

Position Overview

Our next Full-Time Edibles Production Technician will assist with the manufacturing process of gummy edible products for TerrAscend.

Location

This position will be on-site at our Hagerstown, MD facility.

Environmental Factors

This position requires working in an environment with high plant matter and pollen, variable temperatures, and humidity. Employees may be exposed to dust, plant matter, particles, and harsh cleaning chemicals. Protective gear is required, and working under these conditions is expected.

Physical Requirements

• Push, pull, lift, or move at least 50 lbs
• Sit, stand, kneel, bend, squat, and walk for extended periods
• Use hands and fingers for handling and manipulation tasks
• Work with hazardous chemicals following safety protocols
• Wear PPE, non-slip shoes, and optional eye/ear protection

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant production of cannabis-infused products
• Maintain attention to detail, follow instructions, and ensure consistency
• Operate, clean, and maintain equipment and work area
• Complete production orders accurately and efficiently
• Keep detailed records to ensure quality and compliance
• Adhere to GMP, Food Safety, and QA regulations
• Follow SOPs and recipes strictly
• Maintain hygiene and PPE standards
• Implement new systems and processes for edibles production
• Sit or stand for up to 10 hours daily, with excellent hand-eye coordination
• Perform bending, lifting, and other physical tasks as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Self-motivated learner
• Strong math skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• High stress tolerance, adaptable, flexible
• Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Physical ability to perform tasks listed above
• Ability to interpret manuals and data sheets
• Culinary experience preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in GMP manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred
• Experience in medical marijuana/cannabis industry preferred
• Knowledge of food safety regulations preferred

Compensation

$19.50 per hour
